“ First time here was Valentine's Weekend. Was traveling back home from Memphis, and decided to stopped in for breakfast, but they were done serving breakfast for the day, and had moved to lunch Decided to stay for lunch and happy we did. Portions were big. Price was reasonable. And the staff was friendly. Would stop again if we're in the area. Only complaint was my husband ordered a crispy chicken salad and it came out so watery that he couldn't even eat it. But our waitress was so kind, and gave us a refund for his food ”
“ We were in Jackson this morning, went by Hickory House for a late breakfast. Parking lot was packed, only a few spots available. If they're this crowded, must be great, but how long for food and table? Went in anyway, got seated and waited on right away. Service (Jessica) and food was great, we got breakfast (they do stop serving breakfast late morning), five stars! ”

“ A really great place to eat! Breakfast. Lunch. Dinner. All delicious! So far I've not had a "dud" meal yet. Prices are reasonable and portions nice. Everything feels and tastes home made (like grandma's cooking). They have a pickup-drive through window if you have a to-go order, so you don't have to go inside if you don't want to. They also have fresh cookies and pastries inside, which have all proven to be devilishly delicious. The staff are so nice and helpful and food comes out quick. Never had a bad service experience. They're personable and never make you feel rushed to eat and get out. ”
